Getting to the UK

How to arrive by Air

London has 4 major airports: Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted and Luton. All of these are located a train ride of up to 1 hour (or 1.5h by bus) from the city centre. When choosing your destination airport, please take into account the price of onward travel.

There are a number of budget airlines that fly to London from within the EU and other European countries. In our experience, the cheapest are:

  1. www.ryanair.com
  2. www.easyjet.com
  3. www.wizzair.com

If you are travelling from outside Europe/EU, you can check www.cheapestflights.com for a comprehensive overview of the available flights.
